try diffrent posisions eg, for this shot, get low so you can get more of the ground and less of the sky in the photo. i tend to only show a bit of the smy unless its a great sky.

oh, well the road ends at a fence that says no tresspassing, i tried getting a pic that too but it didnt turn out :(
